Jim Sporleder: “It hit me that I was punishing kids.”

Jim Sporleder is not just the conference closing keynoter, he is also a nationally known speaker on the power of trauma informed schools. As principal of Lincoln High School in Walla Walla, Wa, Jim and his staff gained national attention due to a dramatic drop in out of school suspensions, increased graduation rates, and the number of students going on to post-secondary education. In this short conversation with ESSDACK’s Ginger Lewman, he shares about realizing the power we have in helping students.

Jim will be sharing more details during his keynote and breakout session at the Bridging to Resilience conference, April 23-24 in Overland Park, Kansas.

We’re looking forward to all of the learning that will happen at the conference! Use the social media buttons below to let others know about Jim’s sessions.
